Replacement Balance

Question

Hello,

The cord portion of the balance broke. The labels on the window frame
says:
MFGR: PHP-032-2
Series: 830/810S

ID No PHP0495 / U31-55/HVS

The balance metal portion print says: Caldwell ER 25 3

The metal measurements: 26" (L) and 1/2" (W)

We saw some similar parts (e.g. S380/385) but not sure which one is
equivanlent to what we have.

Hi Felix,

The difference between the series 380 and the series 385 lies in the depth of the shoe. The series 385 balance has a 15-004 shoe, which is 1-3/32” deep while the Series 380 balance has a 15-005 shoe, which is 1” deep. Please reference the below photo to see exactly how to measure the depth of your shoe to determine which series you have.

Once you determine the correct series of your balance, you will choose the 26" length, and in regards to the print on your balance, (25 3) this will correlate with the 2530 "option" at checkout.
