Replacement Balance

Question

I need to make sure I am ordering the correct replacement balance.  Attached are photos of both ends as well as the 16E marking that is on the channel.  Can you tell by these photos which parts I will need?

Welcome to SWISCO. With your balance being stamped with a "16", it tells us that the metal length of your balance should measure 17". I was unable to read the length measurement off of your measuring tape so you may want to measure it again just to confirm this is correct. If so, have a look at our S380-17. This comes with a 19-005 balance top and 15-005 bottom balance shoe. Measure the depth of your shoe, the way it is shown in the diagram below, to determine whether or not this is the correct replacement for you. As for your stamping, since it does not correspond with any of our options, you will need to weigh your sash on a scale and refer to the sash weight chart listed directly on the store page.
