Need to replace balancers on my Milgard Windows. Length is 25.75" as shown in the photo marking lists "25 4". Is the matching part 2540? Thanks

I need 4 balancers. Why won't 2540 work?

I'm not sure what you mean. 2540 isn't a part number, that's just a stamp that indicates the spring strength calibration. Are you asking why one of our stock balances won't work? If so, it's because the design is just too different. We've tried our stock balances before and they either didn't install to begin with or ended up breaking not long after.
