Replacement Balances

Question

Please assist in identifying the balance in the attached photo. The white plastic outer cover (on top balance in photo) measures 9/16" wide and 29" long. The lower balance in the photo is from the same window but with the white plastic outer cover removed. The metal tube seen on the lower balance is 3/8" in diameter and 12 1/8" long (tube measurement only without spring) The spring itself is 16 5/8" long. I'd like pricing and availability for replacement balance assemblies.

Hey Tim. Spiral balances are identified by the dimensions of the outer tube. Therefore, if the outer tube is 9/16" in diameter and 29" long, you'll need our S600-29. Now, you'll also need to choose a color tip option that designates the window sash weight range the balance can accommodate. It looks like you have a blue tip spiral balance, which will accommodate a window sash in the weight range of 12 through 31 lbs. Let me know if you have any other questions.
