Replacement Balances

Question

I need 2 replacement balances like the ones pictured or something that will substitute. From what I understand they were discontinued.

As you mentioned, this old rod-type balance isn't made anymore but the good news is that you can use our modern Series 775 as a replacement. You'll just need to measure the bottom shoe and weigh your window sash to choose the appropriate spring strength option. There's a chart under the product description on the S775's product page that will show you which option you'll need based on the weight of your sash.
