Hello,
I am looking for assistance to identify the correct window balance replacement. My current window balance is 24"x 1/2". The stamp on the side is 23-4.

Hi Julia,
Thanks for sending over the custom order link. I have a couple of questions before moving forward.
1) When I go to complete the purchase, it shows an expected delivery date of Feb 10. Is this correct?
2) I see that the order is nonrefundable and I am not able to see any details of the balances to confirm they will work for my window. Could you provide additional detail so I can confirm it will work? And what options do I have if the balances do not work with my window when they arrive?

Hi Pat. Yes, there is a 4-5 week lead time on these parts because they will have to be custom ordered. It will be a 24" channel balance with the 2340 stamp, which indicates the spring strength. The bottom shoe, with the wheel in it, does not match any of our stock options and is the aspect that makes this a custom balance. Unfortunately this would be non-refundable and we would not be able to accept a return on these parts.

Hi Julia, could you update the quantity to 1 in the custom order link so that we don't end up with two of the items if they are not compatible with our windows? Can you confirm if the custom order includes guides?

Sure, no problem. I just e-mailed you the link. The balance will come with the plastic fittings on either end. Is that what you're referring to?
