Hi there, thanks for reaching out. It's a bit difficult to tell if your balance shoe has an open or closed cam based on the angle. If the cam is open, you would be able to completely see through the opening in the center as shown in the first photo below. The closed cam would have a smooth metal backing, as shown in the second photo. Hope this helps!
