Replacement Casement Operator

Question

I have a casement window that has an operator that opens but does not close the casement window. I need to replace the casement operator.

See photos to determine which casement operator is needed as a casement window operator replacement. Please, tell me which casement operator is needed to replace my current casement window operator.

Note: the current operator has a bar of 11 3/8 inches length which is imprinted
Truth L30841. The number on the casement operator is 40471.

Thanks for writing in! Your casement operator appears to be the 39-031 Truth Dual-Arm Operator (the opposite handed version is part 39-032). These operators are compatible with the 39-107 cover along with the 39-114 non-folding handle.

There is also the more updated version of the non-folding handle, part 39-114L or the folding crank handle, part 39-205 . The last option is the 39-107FK , which is a folding crank and handle kit.

Compare the dimensions from your existing operator to those shown on the diagram below.
