Replacement Casement Operator Arm Hardware Compatible with 39-092

Landlord from Los Angeles, California

I need to replace the hardware at bottom right, shown in an inverted "T" configuration in the attached photograph. It appears to be something you manufactured about 20 years ago (that was when it was installed) and the arm shown top left connects to a crank actuator very similar to 39-092. --Colin

Hi, Colin. Your window parts were made by Roto, not us. We can still help, though. See the 36-048 hinge to start out. It looks a little different, but it should still work as long as you replace the top and bottom at the same time.

I did see Roto on the crank assembly. But you sell these parts? For a complete re-do, are you suggesting the 39-092 and the 36-048? Is that all I'm going to need?

Oh, I'm sorry. I thought you only wanted the hinge. We can't help with a complete re-do, unfortunately. Roto discontinued these parts entirely. The only thing we still sell from the operator setup is the 39-091 and 39-092, but even these are discontinued and we're only selling them while supplies last. Everything else ran out a while go.

I'm genuinely not sure who sells the rest of these operator parts anymore. Roto discontinued these around this time last year and never offered anything up as a substitute. What you have now is essentially a collector's item. I apologize for the inconvenience.

So Tom you mean I CAN'T order the 36-048? I thought the Swisco website link indicated that this part was still available.

No, we can. That's why I recommended it previously. What we can't order is anything related to the operator, such as the arms, handles, etc. The hinge isn't technically Roto, it's a generic part.
