Replacement Channel Balance

Home Owner from Arizona
No markings present. Metal clip and nylon fittings shown in the pictures are damaged. Length of the channel portion of that balance is 29"

Hello there. I am sure we can help, but I want to verify two things first. First, the fact the nylon attachments damaged means I'm not certain if the top or bottom fittings originally had 'wings', or side tabs. Is the other balance from this window, or from an identical window in the house, undamaged? if so, can you remove it and show us clear photos of the end attachments? We'll do our best to help from there. Second, is there any stamp on the metal channel you can show us? We should be able to narrow it all down from there.

Hi Bob, I took another balance of another window. This one has markings on it and the nylon attachment is not damaged. Please see the pictures attached

Thanks for getting back to me. Now, I cannot see the nylon attachment on the top in these photos. Does it lack wings, like it does in your original photos? If so, and since the bottom attachment lacks wings, this is either an S351-29 or S390-29. The difference between these two channel balances is the bottom nylon shoe depth. See below. In either case, for a stamp option choose 2830.

Thanks for the info, Bob. The shoe depth measured 1-1/8" so I went with the S390-29.
