Thanks for posting. Before I can confirm what Series channel balance you have, I'll have to figure out what your bottom shoe is. Please look at the measurements for our 15-001 and 15-002 bottom shoes and note their depths. As you can see, they are 1-1/8" deep and 1" deep, respectively. Which measurement more closely resembles your own shoe?

Please also tell me the length of the metal channel. Do not include the plastic attachments in this measurement.

Finally, I'll need to know what the stamp on your metal channel reads. If you don't have a stamp, I'll have to know what the weight of your window sash is, instead. You can determine this by removing the sash from the window and placing it on a scale.

In response to your questions;

Length is ~24 1/2"
The end piece is 15-001 - 1 1/8"
Stamp is 24 4 JN CALDWELL

Thanks for getting back to us! Can you confirm the length of the metal channel? Usually these channel lengths are on the full inch. If yours is, indeed, 24-1/2", your balance will have to be custom made.

Thank you! In that case, I recommend our S390-25 channel balance. I'd also recommend the 2440 stamp option. This can carry a window sash weight range of 19 through 24 pounds. Does your sash's weight fall within this range?

Please keep in mind that the weight range information is based on 2 balances per sash. Balances are designed assuming friction in the jamb weather-strip will carry a portion of the sash weight. Suggested sash weights are approximate.
