My windows are tilt in so the jambs look different. My jambs are very different and the balance does not have a visible screw. I think I need to remove the plastic jamb but it is not clear how it comes out.

What you have here looks similar to our Series 751 channel balance, though I have a suspicion that your knife lock shoe is a different design than the one that comes with our assembly. It's tough to tell for sure while it's installed.
Before we go any further, I think it's a good idea to see your balance fully removed so that we can get a good look at how its made. The video below may be helpful to this end, so I highly recommend watching it.
When you remove a balance, please make sure it's an undamaged version of the type you're trying to replace. That will ensure that no important components are missing. I will need a clear shot of the top end, bottom end, stamp, and most especially the knife lock shoe. I will also need you to tell me how many in total you wanted to buy.
