Replacement Coil Balance SPings for 15 Single Hung Tilt Windows

Question

I have attached pictures one of the existing springs. There are no clips but i have attached a picture of a working spring and the attachment to the frame. I have 15 windows that all the same size and need to replace. Not sure how to proceed and if I should obtain all new and different clips etc.. The spring is 27.5" in length 3/8"

Thanks for reaching out to us. When it comes to measuring spiral balances, you always want to measure the outer casing, not the spring itself. In your case I would wager it's 9/16", considering you have a black tip; no 3/8" balance was ever made with a black tip.

If so, that would be our Series 600. I feel confident this is what you need, but you should check your measurements just to be sure.
