Replacement Door Handle

Question

I replaced the door handle unit, but the door handle will open by lifting the door handle up.
Is there something I did wrong and how can I fix that.

Sorry to hear this happened. This isn't a common issue and we've encountered. So, we're not sure why it happened. I recommend to try reinstalling it, just in case something got hung up on the initial installation.
