Replacement Glazing For Aluminum Windows

Handy Person from Tampa, Florida.

Hi,

I am trying to find replacement glazing for our 20 year old Aluminum windows. The current plastic / vinyl glazing has become brittle and is starting to deteriorate on some of our windows. All windows are single glazed.

Would you have something similar that we could use. The dimensions are as follows. Front face is 1/4" high and the top is approx 5/16" in depth.

If you need additional information or pictures please let me know.

Thank you,

David

Thanks for posting. Would you be able to remove a sample and show us your glazing's 'end profile', and also confirm the dimensions? That would help us identify any possible replacement for you. Many thanks.

Attached are photos of glazing end profile and measurements. The glazing if very brittle so I did my best to get a piece that showed the profile.

Please let me know if you need any additional information.

Thanks,
David

We were unable to locate your exact vinyl snap-in, but we came across one that might work for your window. Look at the 55-172. You would place the extended lip under the glass and snap in the opposite side, shown as 3/8", and hook the lip under the metal frame. Please review.
