Replacement Handle for Sliding Door

Handy Person from Olympia, WA

I am searching for a replacement handle for a patio sliding door. The original door handle was removed to install a pet door and, years later can not be found.

I could not find any manufacturer info or part numer on the door.

There are six holes in the door. The two larger center holes are roughly 1 and 1/2in apart and are 5/8in in diameter. The lower hole contains the mortise lock actuator and it functions fine when turned with a screwdriver. The outer small holes are roughly 5 and 1/4in apart and the inner set of small holes are roughly 3 and 1/2in apart.

The door itself is 1 and 1/2in wide. The missing handle appears to have been roughly 7in or so in height. The keeper was removed as well and is also missing. So I am looking for a replacement handle set and keeper.

Thanks!

Hi Curt,

Unfortunately, we do not carry a replacement handle with that hole spacing, so it seems like you would need to drill new installation holes to install something like our 82-030 with 3-15/16" spacing between the mounting holes. Take a look and see if you could adapt the 82-030 or another handle from our selection to work for you.

To identify a keeper for you, we would need to see a photo of the mortise lock in the center of the door. Thanks for posting!
