26-355 is too big for me

I purchased this replacement set but it is too long. Actual measurements of latches I am replacing are: 3" long by 1 1/18 wide. Any suggestions?

Could you also tell me the distance between the screw holes, center-to-center? That is one of the most important dimensions. I'd also like to know the distance between the front screw hole center to the front edge of the housing. Thanks!

Measurements screw hole to screw hole are 2", and the distance from the first screw hole to the front edge of the housing is 3/4". It is much smaller than the 26-335 as shown in the attached picture.
