Replacement Casement Window Lock

A handy person from California says:

Hello,

My name is Larry in California, I have a casement window that needs a replacement lock. I am unable to unlock and open the window to get accurate measurements. Can you please advise what product would be the best replacement for the existing lock on the picture? The overall length is 4 1/2" long. The length from window frame to end of the arm when extended is 3 3/8"

Thank you,

Larry

We have a few different locks that may work for you. The best match will depend on the size of the fork which physically does the locking, which I cannot see in your photos. I recommend our 38-095, 38-096, 38-138, and 38-139 to start out. You'll have to remove your lock from the window and then carefully compare it to the dimensions we show for each of these four locks. You won't be able to ID a match without being able to remove the original. You'll have to do that before you can do anything else.

If none of these locks match, let me know and we can work from there.
