Hello, I’m trying to locate a replacement multipoint lock for a PGT CA 5540 PVC impact casement window. The current lock appears to be broken—the handle has become loose and I’m no longer able to open the window. I have not removed the existing lock yet, but I’ve taken some measurements and photos while it is still installed. Based on what I can measure: fork (hook) projection appears to be approximately 1 5/8"; distance between mounting screws is approximately 4" (center-to-center), measured using a reference (white paper) shown in the attached photo; the window uses a multi-point locking system (espagnolette style). I came across a part similar to the Maxim Multi-Point Lock (SWISCO 38-095), and I’m trying to confirm if this would be compatible with my window, or if there is a more appropriate replacement. I’ve attached photos showing the lock and measurements for reference. Please let me know if this looks like a match, or if you would recommend a different part. If needed, I can remove the lock and provide additional measurements or markings. Thank you very much for your time and assistance.

Hello,
If your locking fork has a projection of 1-5/8", the 38-095 would be our best option, but the hole spacing measures 3-13/16" as shown below. We strongly suggest removing the lock from the window to confirm if the specifications below match yours. We've related both pairs of multipoint locks on this page for you to review as well. Thanks for posting!
