Replacement Parts

Home Owner from North Carolina
2 identical sliding doors need replacement parts.
I'd like to replace all available components and improve tracks.
Both sliding doors are 36" door width.
Doors original to 1977 home.

Hello,

Take a look and compare the specifications of the parts that we've related on this page for you to your original hardware. Thanks for posting!

Please confirm that the handle set and lock selections are appropriately fitting replacements for the original parts. The original lock seems to be 3 15/16". Please also identify replacement parts for a bumper, keeper, 8" lock cover plate, and wheel adjustment screw covers. Thanks!

I don't believe that the 82-090 Legacy handle set will work on your door because the thumb latch on the internal handle is "off-center". Your thumb latch is located at the center of the handle, so you might need to use something like the 82-030 handle set with an adjustable thumb latch.

As for the mortise lock, take a look at the 82-223 with a rectangular faceplate that looks like yours. The 82-218 face is rounded at the ends. We do not have that 8" faceplate so you will need to reuse it.

Also, take a look at the 80-057 bumper. We have three keepers that could work on your door. The 89-020 has a projection of 3/4", which the 89-021 and 89-021D measure 7/16". As for the roller adjustment screw covers, we have the 33-250 with a diameter of 1/2" and the 67-019 with a diameter of 5/16". Take a look at the parts suggested to see if they will work for your door.
