Replacement Patio Door Roller Assembly

Home Owner from Woodstock, NY
I was unable to find my type of assembly on your web site. Do you have or can you tell me wher I can find these? Doors are 45 years old.

The 81-002 Weather Tight Door Roller appears to be the most similar roller to the one(s) you're replacing. If you choose to use this roller as a replacement, it is recommended you drill out the installation hole to help the roller work with your application.

Mike, Can the wheel assembly on the 81-002 be removed easily if the adjusting screw is first completely removed? This assembly looks promising except that the distance from the 8-32 tapped hole to the non-wheel end is 1-7/16 per Paul's response to another customer. Ideally that dimension needs to be 1-1/8 for my application. However, if I can slip out the wheel assembly and drill another hole 5/16 closer to the non-wheel end that may work for me. Perhaps you have a product that more closely fits my needs? If not I will try this part if I can slip out the wheel assembly. Please advise. Thanks, Al . PS What is the casting material?

Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be another suitable place to drill. The undercarriage on the housing is not the same as the sample you provided. However, one option would be to have a professional, or someone who is familiar with patio door repair, drill another hole in your door.
