Hey there!

Thanks for reaching out to us. Is this balance for a tilt window? If so, you'd want the 5/8" Series 600 or 3/8" Series 900 depending on the diameter of the tube. To determine length, make sure to only measure the outer tube.

If there isn't a tip color on the balance, you will have to weigh the window sash on a scale and refer to the weight chart under the S600 and S900 product descriptions to determine the proper tip color.

Let us know if you have any questions!

Thanks so much for getting back to me Emily! To answer your question, no, this balance is for a window that rises north and south. I included a photo of the window that is located in a bathroom. I hope this helps. Could you let me know how this changes the above response? I can weigh it and provide the window dimensions, just please let me know.

My apologies I should have been more clear. Does the window have tilt latches on both sides of the sash? Can you also extend the inner spiral tip a bit more and show us a few angles of the tip?

Great, thank you! This indeed looks like a tilt window spiral balance such as the Series 900 or Series 600. You'll have to measure the diameter of the white tube to determine which Series is best for your repair.

Thank you, I added both to my cart( I'm planning on keeping both :) ). Do you also sell the attached? I'm trying to make sure I have all the necessary components

It can be tough to say for sure since the window track obscures most of the shoe. We have the 15-118 but you'll want to remove the old one to confirm the specifications align.
