Spring Balances for Euro 2000 Double Hung WIndow

Question

I need to replace the Spring Balances in a Euro 2000 Double Hung Window. I can't find anything online about these windows, but the spring balances and jambs look almost indentical to the Alside Windows. I was able to pull pieces of the coil spring out but the part numbers and any weight markings are illegible. Can you offer any help and advise me if you have the spring balances for this window? Also, is the jamb spreader tool you reference in your video available for rent or is there an alternative since I only have one window to be repaired?

We'd be happy to look into this for you but we would need to see photos of your original balance assembly uninstalled since we do not have a record of the hardware used by your window manufacturer.

Also, our jamb spreaders are not available for rent but we honestly only recommend them to professionals who do these types of repairs on a regular basis. For homeowners, we recommend following the cutout method below to make a space to remove the original balances and install replacements. Thank you!
