Hi -- I'm looking at item #79-030 to replace an existing long through faceplate but I'm curious if you could tell me the height of the pile on the faceplate... the gap between the two doors is close to 1/2" so if the pile is shorter than that it isn't going to work for the application.

Hey, Chris. The pile on the 79-030 face plate projects by about 3/16". Hopefully this helps!
