Replacement Window Balance

Question

I need to identify this balance from my window. The metal channel surrounding the spring and cables measures 27 inches long. The balance shoe measures 1-1/4 inches wide. The channel has stamped markings that read "27CBSI TL". The windows are ten years old. I will need to replace two of them.

I believe our S795-27 channel balance will replace this. It doesn't have that groove near the shoe, but it should still work the same way.

One other major difference is that our S795-27 installs at the top using a screw. See our 26-200 screw plug and check its dimensions. Can this fit in the round hole I see in your fourth photo? If so, then you can install our S795-27 with a 33-090 screw with no problem.
