Replacement Window Crank/MILGARD

Home Owner from us
My MILGARD casement window becomes unattached to the cranking device on one end. Please help me how to fix it.
In the picture with the mirror showing the underside of the window, there is a black plastic piece that connects to the metal arm. I think that needs to be replaced because the hole doesnot hold onto the arm peg anymore

Hello!

It looks like your bottom window hinge is missing. There should be two hinges in total, one for the top and one for the bottom. With that said, take a look at our 36-048 and see if this part matches up with your old hinge. Just note that we always recommend you replace both the top and bottom hinges at the same time.

As for the operator, it looks like it may use the 39-529 track slider though it's hard to say from your second photo. If that is indeed the case, I'd recommend the 39-253RB dual arm operator. We also sell the 39-452 cover and handle (sold separately).

Thank you for your reply about parts available . My question is one end of the craning device , circle yellow comes detached from the base of the window . Is there a part that will make it stay connected to the window ?

We sell the 39-529 track slider which looks like it might match your old one that is still installed in the casement track. If yours is worn or broken that may be the culprit. Another idea is the peg at the end of the operator's arm could also be worn. Just something to keep in mind.

Thank you for the picture of 39-529. Can you tell me how is this inserted? Is it by screws?

No, the 39-529 simply snaps onto the peg at the end of the operator's long arm.
