Replacement Window Hardware

Question

Glad I found you guys!  I'm starting to have problems with my windows and trying to get educated.  I have a sticker that says "Series: 380 DH  H-R25-47X73". I'm not sure of the manufacturer, but it looks like you have the parts I will need. The windows are fogging up and I took the double pane out of the frame and plan to take it to a glass company to see if they can make a new one that will fit my frame.  Some of my windows are starting to have spring problems so will take pictures and see if you have replacements parts. Do you have any advice about going to a glass company to make new double pane assemblies to go in my frame. Hopefully this is a do-able thing! Thanks for your time, Terry

Thanks for writing in! A local glass and window shop should be able to swap out the glass for new panes. Once you've done so, we should be able to assist you with replacing the balances in the window.

Although, you should get the glass changed first as the newer panes may affect the weight of the sash.
