Replacement awning operator

Stanley part # 10-8231-RH two screws on top and bottom 5.25" apart. The gear pivot came loose but I don't have room to press it back in. Looks like I need replace. Do you have this part and can you direct me to installation video? Thanks

Hi there!

Thanks for reaching out to us. Unfortunately, we couldn't cross-reference this part number to a particular operator in our inventory. Can you remove the link arm from the linkage and show us a clear photo of it?

Yes but I will have to drill out the pivot rivet, does the replacement come with a pin and clip

You shouldn't have to drill out that rivet. There's usually a "groove type pin" similar to the 33-077 that the link arm clips onto using an e-ring like the 21-161. To get behind the window gearing, you might need to use something like the 75-004 charging tool with a hook or a set of long nose pliers like the 75-005. As for the operator, I believe it may be Stanley 39-058. I recommend you compare the dimensions and mounting hole locations to your operator to see if they align.
