Replacement balance

Question

Hi! I need two of this size, but I've got more to replace in windows of somewhat different sizes. Do I need to remove this piece to order the additional ones, or is there a way to find the correct part by measuring the window?

Thanks for posting. See the 24-637. This can replace Andersen balances with the stamp 6#23, or 623.
