Hello,
I have multiple broken block&tackle's in most of the windows in my home, so none of them stay up. We took one out so we could identify it in ordering a replacement, but it only says 28D and does not have the multiple numbers that most of the replacement ones we've seen have.
It is indeed 29" long, but all of the plastic components have broken and fallen off of both sides so it's very difficult to find a match. There are no other numbers or letters on the metal channel so we are at a loss as to which series the replacement should come from.

Those stamps tell us nothing of the balance's identity anyways; just their spring strength. Do any of the balances still have the attachments or nylon fittings intact? If so, please send pictures of the best version available and we'll do our best to help.
