Replacement bronze coil spring

This is for a bathroom, double hung window with a single window balance. The tip of the bronze coil spring broke. (This seems to be a recurrent issue with different windows and brands.)
What do we need to order in order to repair the window (we've done this in the past).

We'd be happy to look into this for you but, unfortunately, the labels do not tell us the hardware that the window uses. To get started, we would need to see photos of your original balance assembly uninstalled, including the pivot shoe and coil springs, to compare to our inventory. Thanks for getting back to us. It's tough to be sure since your photo shows the back of the pivot shoe but the the 15-228 would be a good place to start. Take a look and compare the specifications below to yours.

If it's a match, this pivot shoe is compatible with either the 1/2" thick Series 160 coil springs or the 3/8" thick Series 165 coils depending on the size of your original springs. Each coil should have a number stamped on the metal that indicates the weighted option needed. If there are no markings, please provide the weight of the window sash to calculate the strength options you'll need.
