Replacement casement window operator

I have a Truth casement window operator, product # 40471. The window installation was probably in 1992. What replacement part do you recommend? The window opens to the left. Thanks for the videos. It helps me understand the replacement process.

That number is often associated with our 39-031 and 39-032 operators, but that's not a guarantee. I've seen those stamps be wrong before so I wouldn't necessarily trust them. Review the photos and dimensions we have on the 39-031 and 39-032 store pages and let me know if they differ in any way.

The long arm of my casement operator measures at 9 3/8"-9 1/2" long. Your 39-031 measurement is 10 3/4" long. The short arm of my casement operator measures the same as your 39-031. Do I need a different casement operator.

I've never seen a version of this operator with a straight arm in that size. I would double check to make sure you're measuring the same way we do. Refer to the diagram below. Make sure to measure from the wheel all the way to the center hole on the base.
