Replacement channel balance

Question

The string on my balance broke and I am looking for a replacement. I cannot seem to figure out which would work best. It is 1/2" x 28". The markings say 2712 BSI RE. Can you please recommend a replacement?

Start by looking at our Series 390 channel balance, I think this could work for you. I'm just not sure about that stamp. Can you confirm the weight of your sash?
