Replacement counter balance

Question

These springs are used to counterbalance a 6 ft. glass sash used on a biosafety cabinet. Mfg. no longer supplies parts. I have rebuilt some with success, but it feels like I am re-inventing the wheel. Channel width is 9/16 in., length is 30 in. and the sash is 35-38 lbs. Any help would be appreciated. We are capable at modifying, such as removing the ends and trimming the channel. It mounts horizonal at either end, channel down. The hook is drawn down and hooked into the top of the sash.

I'm afraid I can't determine what you have from these photos. Would it be possible to see a photo of whatever clip or hook is at the end of the cord? Would it also be possible to see how they look like installed?

I can't guarantee that we can supply an assembly that will work for you, since all of our balances are only meant to install in residential windows, but with a little more information I will do my best to find something suitable.
