Replacement crank handles

Quick Learner from Hemphill, TX

Need replacement crank handles for 12 casement windows, six left-hand, six right-hand. Pictured is the mechanism (Truth) with the number 40941 stamped on arm in lower right side of middle picture.

I was thinking of replacing with crank handles similar to: 39-107FK (although that spline is in middle of cover vs right or left hand side). what parts do I need?

Hello!

The 39-107FK won't work for this operator, unfortunately. As you mentioned, this is designed for operators with a spline that sit in the center of the base, while yours sits to the side. See our 39-205 instead. This fits an 11/32" spline and should work fine with your operator.

Hello Emily,

Thanks for the rapid reply! Is there any chance that there are replacement cover plates and folding handles similar to the 39-107FK, or is the folding crank handle 39-205 my only option? The reason I ask is two-fold: the current cover is a silver color, which I would like to replace with white, and the photos associated with 39-205 doesn't clearly show how it is in the "stowed" position.

Thanks,

Kevin

The cover for your operator is built into the base itself and can't be removed, unfortunately, so I'm afraid you can only replace the handle. If you wanted an operator with a white cover, you would need to replace the whole mechanism with our 39-171. This appears to be an older version of your operator but compare the dimensions to confirm everything matches up.
