This old hardware on old door (maybe from 1980s) broke off, and when I went to Home Depot and Lowes, the handles there looked comparable, but the bolt that secures door through handle wasn't long enough (as long as the one from original broken handle) to fit. It looked like maybe your Acorn door (?) handle might actually work, and our door is so antiquated that we have few options until door is replaced in more distant future? Does this sound familiar, and do you have ideas? Gordon

Hi, Emily:
I had the exactly same patio door and issue. However this product is For up to 1-1/2" thick door rails and the existing door is 1-3/4" thick. Installation hole centers: 3-1/2" is good. Just wonder do you have anything that fits 1-3/4" of the thickness and hole centers of 3-1/2"?
Thanks!
Michael

Hey, Michael!
You can still use the 82-055 with your 1-3/4" door thickness but you would just need to re-use your old screws and your handle's lock hook.
