Replacement for 50 year old sliding glass door handle and lock

Handy Person from San Clemente California.
I have 3 of these old sliding glass patio doors (circa 1976) that the handles or more specifically the lock mechanism is broken and or missing.
They are mounted on the glass side and the screws are apx 3.5" apart and screwed thru from the front (strike side) of the frame, see photos.
A clamp or frame surface mount handle/lock won't work as when the door is shut the door frame is mostly covered up by the frame of the opening.
Any ideas on a replacement locking handle besides drilling a hole and inserting lock pin on chain (lol)?
Or am I gonna have to replace all 3 patio doors with beautiful new double glazed smooth sliding modern doors?

Hello there!

Thank you for reaching out to us. We don't sell a replacement or substitute for the handle in your photos, unfortunately. I am very sorry that we won't be able to assist with this repair but please let us know if you have any other hardware questions.
