Just confirming the 24-1231 is the correct replacement for the one pictured.

From the picture I can see the stamp H29 12#31 8-77 - is that correct?

Are there any other stamps on your balance box?

That is correct, those are the only stamps I can see.

Yes, the 24-1231 is the correct replacement. Also note, it looks like you have wood right up to the balance box, this may be something that you will have to pry up to install the new balance.
