The channel balance guide had broken in one of my bedroom non-tilt windows. I found your site online and determined that the 18-161 5/8" Sash Guide Norandex was the replacement I needed. I succeeded in removing the lower sash as indicated in your instructional video for replacing the sash guide and the guides that I ordered were an exact match. That was the good news.
However, the channel balance, instead of staying hooked to the take out clip, dropped to the bottom of the channel when I removed the window. When I pulled it out of the channel, I could see that the pulley that connected to the spring inside the channel balance had broken at the connection to the spring.
The channel guide is 30" long, not including the plastic fittings at both ends. The embossing on the channel guide is somewhat difficult to read in the photo, but appears to be "2930 BF" with the letters "B.S.I" at a right angle to the "2930 BF".
Is this enough to identify the replacement channel guide that I need?

I think you might have a match for our S380-30 channel balance. However, make sure to check the depth of the bottom shoe. The depth of the shoe on our S380-30 is 1". If yours is less, let me know. You may need something custom made, instead, but it will depend on that measurement.
