Replacement for Philips 91S Non-Tilt Channel Balance

Home Owner
Hello,
Could someone please help me figure out which channel balance I need for a Philips 91S Non-Tilt window? The broken balance slid out by itself, so I couldn't get a picture of it installed, but I have attached photos of the removed part.
The metal channel has a stamp that reads: "25 4 CALDWELL MN".
Based on the fittings, I was thinking about getting two of the 26" Series 385 Channel Balances, but I wasn't sure if this is correct. My window has always been very hard to fully close and lock, so I was thinking the 2530 weight option might be a better choice for an easier close instead of the 2540.
Could you confirm if the Series 385 is correct, and whether dropping down to the 2530 is a safe bet for my closing issue?
Thank you!

Hi there. If the shoe depth is 1-3/32", then the Series 385 is what you need. That seems to be the case, but pictures of measuring tape can be deceiving, so double and triple-check.

As far as the sash being tough to close--weigh the window sash before proceeding. You always want the sash weight to fall into the weight range for the given stamp option. 2540 denotes a balance that can support a sash in the weight range of 19 through 25 pounds. 2530, 15 through 19 pounds. If your window sash weighed more than 19 pounds I would not recommend 2530, or else you'd find the sash difficult to open and keep open. Weigh to see what would be best.
