Replacement for Side Load Balance

Question

I need to replace the balance springs on two of my windows. Can you help me? It looks like the stamped numbers are 2620 BSI, length is 27".

Thanks for posting. This looks like either a S380-27 or S385-27 Channel Balance. The only difference between these two Series is the 'depth' of the bottom nylon shoe. With the Series 380 the depth of this nylon shoe is 1", whereas with the Series 385 it is 1-3/32". Compare with your own and see what is best.

Once you know what balance you have, you must choose a stamp option. Your stamp option of 2620 is for a window sash in the weight range of 9 through 13 lbs. Let us know if you have any questions.
