Replacement for balance

Need replacements for balance stamped with
13 4 JU CMC 7

I believe the correct model will be a 15" Series 385, S385-15
but not sure of sash weight.

Its for a small dbl pane vinyl window..

Usually a stamp of 13 4 corresponds to our 1340 option, but you should weigh your sash just to make sure. Furthermore, a stamp of 13 4 indicates a 14" balance. I would re-measure your own hardware. Make sure that you're only measuring the metal channel.

The metal channel actually measures 14.75".

Would you recommend a 14 or 15" replacement in that case ?

Thanks for getting back to us. Usually our balances just end on the inch, and in some rare cases they end on the half inch. I've never seen one that ends on a 3/4". I would double check that just in case, making sure that you are not measuring the nylon attachments.

If you still get 14-3/4", then I think you might want to go with our 15". I'm not sure if it will work, but I think it would be the only viable choice.
