Replacement for broken crank

We have a broken-ish crank on one of our awning style windows. One of the side supports is broken off so it isn't very stable in the window frame. Also looks like they may have drilled new holes and used different hardware from what was originally intended, so in not sure if a new crank will be plug and play.

Side note. One of the windows doesn't close all the way on its own either. Any tips for maintenance?

To further review, are you able to show us the crank removed from the window where we can see a clear view of the installation hole pattern and the link arm?

For the other window, is it an issue with the crank not pulling the window all the way shut?

I have attached some more photos. It is hard to tell which holes are the original ones, but I believe the smallest three holes are the correct ones. I took a picture of one still installed that isn't broken. The crank I am replacing is broken on the bottom and was Jerry rigged by the previous owner. The crank arm is held on place by a retaining clip (hoping there is a replacement because it flew off somewhere outside...)

Hey there, Lauren isn't here today but I'll do my best to assist you.

Reviewing your recent photos, this instantly strikes me as similar to our VE Anderson operators, the 39-259 and 39-258. These appear to be the closest--and to be frank, only--options in our inventory. Review our dimensions below and see how well they compare. Take special note of the size of the hole in the arm, and the overall installation hole spacing. Arm length actually doesn't matter so much. As long as yours is somewhat close to 2-1/2" then any differences there can be ignored.

Note that this kind of windows are getting somewhat old. Repair parts like this are harder to harder to come by. Just something to keep in mind as you move forward with this project. These windows just aren't as popular as they used to be!

Looks like the right crank. Is it offered in white?

I'm afraid not. At this time these operators aren't made in alternative colors. I apologize for the inconvenience.
