Replacement for plastic clips

A quick learner from Vermont says:
Our windows were built with plastic clips to attach to the window track, but with age a lot of them have broken. The corners of the screens appear to be sealed so I'm not sure a slide in clip will work. Any help would be appreciated, most of the screens will not hold in place anymore

Hi there!

I recommend you have a look at the 70-048 screen frame latch. This looks similar in design to yours. Review the specifications and compare them with yours to see what you think.

Thank you! I watched the video for install and it seems like you also need to replace the screen - is it possible to install without having to do that?

You could try to just pull out the screen cloth and spline at the bottom corner going up a few inches to where you have to be to install the 70-048 clip. I have done this in the past. Sometimes you can get away without rescreening the complete screen.
