Replacement for window locking latch

Question

Locking mechanism on a vinyl inside window , push up both top and bottom latches to unlock the window to swing it out into the  room. As you can see , one of the locking tabs is broken and won't allow the latch to stay in place and function.I hope you can help me with this item as you did 3 years ago with  another part on the same type of discontinued windows .

Unfortunately, your latch and internal lever were discontinued. In situations like this, service people opt to remove the internal latches and install external surface-mounted latches like the 26-228 and 26-229.
