Replacing my handle set with the 82-036

Hey, Paul. Unfortunately, that won't be possible. Not without some serious adaptation anyway. You have a specific kind of flush handle set that can't really be replaced by any other style. The reason for this is because once you remove your handle, you have a huge rectangular hole left over. You'd have to find a way to cover that before you install anything else.

If you were interested in undertaking that kind of project, you could contact a local hardware store. They might sell a kind of plate that you can use to cover the hole that would be left behind by your old handle. Otherwise, you're pretty much stuck with this style.
