I would like to explore options for a different handleset and backplate for this mechanism. Something bronze or aged brass color.
Also, can you tell me whether it would be possible to install a different style of lock core? Perhaps keyed one side and thumbturn on the other? What about operation without a lock at all?

Thanks for reaching out to us! I'm sorry to say that we would not be able to supply you with a replacement for your G-U Ferco handle set. Unfortunately, the replacement handle sets we do carry would not be compatible with your internal mortise lock or your door.
You'll need to contact the manufacturer or the company for an idea on how to obtain the replacements you need.
