Hello,
I am looking to replace this lock set with something similar. The hook attaches to the exterior of the frame when the lever is pushed down to lock. The lever is broken and I cannot lock the sliding door which I why I would like to replace it. I understand it's 30+ years old and I have been struggling to find original parts.

Hello there. This looks like a surface mounted handle set. Our 82-009A has a similar 'clamp' lock. Its hole spacing, or the distance between the center of each mounting hole, is 4-15/16". Take a look and see if you think this would work for your door.
