I see the original door sweep for: (SWRI 98038-05-01) (28915) has been discontinued.
The bottom of the door is 31-1/2/inches long x 1-3/4/inches thick. As you will see in the attached photo's, the door sweep is set inside the bottom of the door.
Could I use 58-189 as a replacement - "36" high performance door bottom"? Which I can cut down to 31-1/2 inches long.

In regard to using our 58-189 on your door, you will just have to make sure that the two distance between the two kerfs coming out of the top of the sweep are the same in your door. In this sweep they are 7/8" apart. I can't tell from your photos if you have the slits in the bottom of your door to insert the 58-189. If you don't, you can slice the kerfs off and attach the sweep to your door. It is a bit of a project, but it is possible to do. If you would rather not do that, get back to us. We have some other suggestions that could work for you as well.
