Replacement part

A quick learner from Mooresville NC says:
I am trying to find the replacement part as pictured. The stamp on the part is 3400 BSI. The casing is 34 inches. The string connects to the base at the bottom. The spring is 14 1/2 inches long. I am not sure of the window brand. Suggestions?

Tom from SWISCO responded:

This looks like a match for our S770-34 channel balance, though your stamp is peculiar. You will need to get your sash weight in order to determine if one of our stamp options can work for you.

A home owner from Cornelius, NC says:

I believe I have the same channel balance as the previous poster. It's also 34" long and

I believe I need to order the S770-34 also. I've included pictures of the stamp to see if you can determine the sash weight from the stamp.

Thank you,

Curt

Hey, Curt. Like I mentioned in my post back in November, that stamp is very strange. You're going to have to weigh your sash to confirm which stamp option would be best for your window.
